Olivia and her doll

This is what Olivia does with her dolls, she hugs and squeezes them and makes funny faces.

Christmas dress!

Here is Olivia's Christmas dress!!
I tried to get a good picture of it but she would NOT hold still and then my camera died, so these are a little blurry.

Olivia goes through all the cupboards and drawers and pulls everything out! This is one of her favorite things to play with, she watches me use it and gets excited. She has figured out hows it works!

Play-dough!

I made play-dough the other day for Olivia for something new to do. I figured that she would try to eat it just like she eats everything else under the sun but at least play-dough is somewhat edible!

coughing and gagging on it so I gave her a drink...even after all this, she still tried to eat more!

I caught Olivia taking her shirt off for the first time! I was sitting at the computer and turned around to find her half way out of her clothes. At the end of the video, she is playing with one of her favorite toys. She sometimes cannot get the book open, so she sits there and wines until I open it and then shes happy!

Here is Olivia walking! She walked about 5 feet, and turned around, something that she has been trying to do but did not get it until today!

Just a story....I was at the store earlier and an little old lady walked up and was talking to Olivia.
She said, "oh, he has such pretty eyes"
I said "she's a girl"
"Oh?, really?"
"Yes"
Then she said a little more and left. So the funny or weird part is, Olivia was wearing this same outfit that she has on in the video with pink socks. Obviously pink, can't get much more girly than that except for a bow in the hair.

Peek-a-boo!

She uses puzzles pieces as a pacifier!




Here is the puzzle piece, she sucks on the knobs. She had this one in her mouth for a couple of minutes while she was playing with her toys.

Watching the washer, its fun, you should try it! She does this quite often.

I was cleaning my bedroom one day and walked out to the living room to find her sitting in the drawers! Of course, she was in the ones that were stacked!

If its climbable, she will climb it, including Kevin and I.

Finally got a picture of her standing, looking at the camera!



I caught her playing Peek-a-Boo for the first time! I was trying to get her to say DA DA, but she decided to play peek-a-boo. She will pull things off of her face but this was the first time she covered her face by herself.

Olivias pool

This was the last warm day that we had so I got Olivia's pool out so she could play in it. The noise in the background is Kevin cleaning the pool solar cover.


This is after we cleaned the cover. She was drinking the water off of it.


I am not sure if she could breath or not but she kept doing this!


kevin was cleaning out the swimming pool and Olivia wanted to play in the water so we let her. It was freezing cold but she didn't mind!




This is how she crawls in the grass now. I am not sure why she has started to do this but it is pretty funny to watch.

Rocking horse

Here she is in the rocking horse that was my Grandpas when he was little!

She likes this rocking horse, but apparently its more fun to push than to ride in!

She was yelling at me here. She throws her arms into the air when she yells, its really funny.

Another toy that is more fun to push around rather than playing with.

She really liked this headband. She would put it up in the air and talk and then chew on it and laugh.

Standing! This is the first picture of her standing. She took two steps on her own on Tuesday.
(And there is that headband her mouth, of course)

She is falling but the headband remained in the mouth.

Don't worry, I did catch her, and the headband came out, finally.

Its been awhile but here are some new pictures!

She found the box of papers that we burn and thought they were pretty tasty! She was mad when I took these away and kept going back to get them so the box is gone now!


Here is the first time that I let her have the spoon...this is applesauce and baby cereal


She tried to get food on the spoon by using the handle to scrape the bowl. She was able to get a little bit this way.


I tried to get her to use the right end of the spoon but she would turn it right back!


She finally gave up on the spoon and used her hands.


Olivia helping with the last of the corn for the year. She tried to eat the corn but it was too big to fit into her mouth. So she ate the dirt instead.


Here she is attempting to eat a cucumber, but it was also too big for her mouth. She could barely hold it.
